Wakarusa Artist Spotlights

I recently completed a series of promotional videos for Pipeline Productions in Lawrence, KS.  I interview four different bands from all different parts of the country, and one sent in their own footage.  I haven't done too much stuff like this, but it was an enlightening experience and the diversity of it is great for portfolio.

New video of sorts, of course, of course.

Part music video, part compilation, here is something I edited together on a sleepless night before an early flight.  All the footage was collected from Surka's youtube and the music is from the band she works with, Dumptruck Butterlips.  Expect lots more stuff with these guys soon, hopefully a music video, but at least a long reel of short promo spots and some live performances.

The Ballad of Bo Carroll - Act 1

While I really wish we could film this again with lights, as far as anything I have edited with local bands, this is by far my finest moment (and I don't mean to discredit Alice, Holy Mother, Jamazon Cloud and Deviator, it just helps when the band puts effort into doing something different visually than just the standard group playing on stage).  Muchas gracias a Todd y Derek y Ashley y todas las personas de la 'Cafe Acoustic' for including me in this production, it was a pleasure.
